The thing that keeps me awake in the night
is knowing I could do wrong, or I could do right it’s the thought of changing nothing in this world of just becoming an ordinary girl. Awake, I look back and search through my thoughts the mistakes I have made, and what they have taught what I have learned, and what I have lost Who I have loved, and what it has cost But when things fail, we call it a mistake but it’s just proof of the chances we take taking a chance to know you’re alive and the realization that you will survive. The courage to put your heart on the line yes, it may break, but you will not die to cherish the moments on this journey we take Knowing to live, you must love and not hate. Now, I do a lot for heaven’s sake I hope for a soul in a world that seems fake but someday I know true love will be found probably when we all look around and see that in ways we are all just the same just different faces with different names So tomorrow I hope that I search for love that I forget the things not from above search for the kingdom and the rest will be found maybe then, I will sleep safe and sound
